CAREER COUNSELING PROGRAM MAY 2025

In line with our mission to foster holistic development and academic excellence, four students from The Aga Khan Hostel, Botad participated in a prestigious Career Counseling Program on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Hosted by The Education Committee of the Muslim Association at Ahad Sports Club, Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, the event offered tailored guidance on academic and career pathways. Our students enrolled via a promotional video by Mr. Karim Lakhani, proudly representing the hostel. Their aspirations reflect the diversity of our community:

To bridge academic learning with practical skills, the hostel sponsored all five students for a two-day certified QuickBooks Accounting Software Training by IPN, facilitated by Asmitaben Baima. The training equipped them with essential digital finance and accounting tools.

Beyond counseling and skill-building, Alijah President Saheb Dr. Dilip Darediya and Committee Member Vickybhai Kheraj coordinated with Manishaben Baima, Life Foundation (Virar Hostel), to secure residential placements for three students. The remaining two continue to receive local mentorship with personalized support plans.

In collaboration with the National Council Education Board—led by Chairman Aslambhai and Member Faridbhai—the hostel committee secured full sponsorship for tuition and academic expenses, allowing students to focus fully on their education.

This initiative exemplifies institutional synergy—uniting the hostel, community leaders, and national education bodies to empower youth through opportunity and guidance. We extend heartfelt thanks to all partners, parents, and mentors, and remain committed to every Aga Khan Hostel student’s journey
