On the occasion of the First Imamat Day of Prince Rahim Hazar Imam Aga Khan V, The Aga Khan Hostel, Botad had the honour of presenting a special programme for the Jamat on 3rd February 2026 at the City Jamat Khana, upon the gracious request of the Mukhi Saheb.

Students of the hostel, ranging from Class 4 to college level, prepared the programme within a short span of two to three days. The event, conducted over a duration of one and a half hours, featured performances by hostel students along with participating students from REC. The programme commenced with the playing of drums and a parade, creating a dignified and celebratory atmosphere. The proceedings were confidently anchored by a hostel student.

A well-structured speech delivered by a student highlighted the importance of Imamat Day in the life of a student, emphasizing guidance, discipline, faith, responsibility, and commitment to learning. This was followed by coordinated dance performances on spiritually uplifting songs including Guide Me Khudavind, Ye Khuda, Brazil, and Arziya Sari Mein, which reflected the spirit of devotion and joy associated with the occasion.

The role play on the life of Varas Vazir Ismaili Bhai Ganji formed the highlight of the programme. It was designed as an educational and value-based learning experience, enabling students and members of the Jamat to learn about an important historical figure while understanding key moral and spiritual teachings.
